CAPITAL KINGS

Capital Kings was formed by Cole Walowac and Jon White. Lifelong friends, the musicians met in a church nursery and started playing music together as kids. They gained notice in 2012 with a series of remixes for fellow Christian artists tobyMac (including ”ShowStopper” and ”Me Without You”), Britt Nicole (”Amazing Life”), Mandisa (”Good Morning”), and Group 1 Crew (”His Kind of Love”). By the end of that year, they released an EP, I Feel So Alive, and also made two contributions to the Gotee label’s Christmas compilation ‘Tis the Season to Be Gotee Too. Their self-titled debut album followed in January 2013 and entered Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart at number five.

Jon White announced i January 2016 his decision to step away from the project. Cole Walowac will continue: ”Looking ahead I’m excited to continue this journey with you all as my heart and passion continues to be in Capital Kings.” A few month later Dylan Housewright went on tour with Cole Walowac as a replacement for Jon White. But in late 2017 they were disbanded.
