Carrollton at CCM ARTISTS - Christian Artists & Bands

CARROLLTON

Halfway between their hometowns of Cincinnati, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky, lies the small town of Carrollton. Although only a little over 3,000 people call it home, for Justin Mosteller, Jeremy Menard, Michael Loy, and Jordan Bailey it signifies their brotherly bond, their music, and their namesake. Justin and Jeremy live in Cincinnati, while Michael and Jordan call Louisville home. Previously performing under the moniker Mosteller, Justin’s last name, the band went through more than 100 possible names before landing on Carrollton. The band’s common identity lies in their shared beliefs and love for music.

As a band they began to play at youth conferences and church services. It wasn’t until the members found themselves at an artist retreat in Winthrop, Wash., led by Centricity Music, that they realized the reality of their calling, the larger dreams God had for them and the hard work required. In 2014 they released their first EP, Breathe In Deep.

In 2016 Jeremy Menard departed from the band to be in the community in his church with his wife Katie. He was replaced by Joel Rousseau.
