Rapture Ruckus

RAPTURE RUCKUS

Featuring vocalist Brad Dring and musicians Mike Aitofi and Josh Stein, New Zealand’s Rapture Ruckus began as a straight hip-hop crew but brought other genres into their music as their career grew. They have been grown to a electronic/hip-hop/pop/rock band. They launched in 2002, and debuted at New Zealand’s quite huge Parachute Festival, a successful gig that underscored the importance the group places on performing live. The Ruckus spent the next few years touring the globe, playing shows and worship services in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and elsewhere, earning themselves a loyal following in the process. They finally made their official debut in late 2006 with the album I Believe, winner of the 2007 New Zealand Music Award for Best Gospel Album.
